We loved having a couple of days break. We got to know CBF's family really well and heard some amazing testimonies and things that God is doing that were really encouraging! We got to go to the mall in Tulsa Oklahoma, which was really big and nice! Vonda, CBF's mom, was so accommodating to us as we stayed in her home, and we really had an amazing time! Friday we left from Oklahoma and headed to Coffeyville Kansas for our 7:30pm show at a community college. The staff there were so sweet! The moment we pulled into the lot, there were over ten people there waiting and ready to help us unload all of or stuff. I would say it was our best show yet! There were a couple hundred people that came out, and over 30 of them chose to give their lives to The Lord! It was such a fun night!
The next night we had a show in Chanute Kansas, about 45 mins away from Coffeyville. This venue was really cool. The building was huge and consisted of at least three floors. It was very old and somewhat creepy, but really interesting! All four of us bands were staying on the top floor in this little house-like area, that had about four bedrooms. The building used to be an old coffin factory, so the random coffins lying around were not too settling. Especially when Amy of Elms District decided to hide in one and pop out at everyone! She scared us all half to death!! The show was at 7pm and the turn out was great! People loved all the music and we had such a blast! That night we played some fun games and went to bed around 3am, we really had so much fun!
This morning we woke up and packed up our things to play worship for a nearby church service. It was a pretty large church and all the people there were so welcoming to us! There was a guy there that makes cajons and he gave Luke (our drummer) one for free! It's made of wood from an old door in 1910! It was so cool! After church we went to a Mexican restaurant and now we are headed to Nashville Tennessee! We are really excited to see what Nashville has in store for us!
